Weird question, I know. But think about it for a second. Do you pat yourself on the back every day? Do you look in the mirror and see a beautiful woman? Do you speak up about your skills when the time is right?
Do you want to feel good about yourself every day?
It's not an impossibility. It's actually totally within your power. In fact, YOU have ALL the power.
Or stupid, or weird, or UNWORTHY?
I remember it clearly. My pediatrician changed my life for the next 25 years by calling me one word. "Overweight."
It was like I would never be good enough because I was "fat." Fat was my one defining characteristic. Anything and everything bad that happened was because I was fat.
The funny thing is, I actually wasn't. If you see pictures of me from that time, I was a regular kid. And yet from that moment on, I saw myself as damaged goods.
Do you look in the mirror each morning happy with the woman looking back? If not . . .
It's not fear or deprivation. It's not self-loathing or telling yourself to be more disciplined.
It's something that you can start right now. You can love everything about yourself. And it's freaking awesome.
